The world has lost a visionary and creative genius, an innovator,  inventor, a great marketer and the most successful entrepreneur.

1955:
Steven Paul Jobs, the visionary was born in California, USA

1968:
Attended Cupertino High School in Cupertino, California.

1972:
Graduated high-school.
Same year Jobs dropped-out(one semister) at Reed College in Portland, Oregon.

1974:
Began attending meetings of the Homebrew Computer Club, a computer hobbyist user’s group in Silicon Valley.

1976:
Co-founded Apple along with Steve Wozniak, Ronald Wayne and A.C. Markkula Jr.

1977:
The first personal Computer was born.

1981:
Apple III, the first desktop PC for business was introduced.

1984:
The first Macintosh was introduced, and also known as the Mac.

1985:
Resigned from Apple and founded NeXT Computer.

1986:
Acquired Pixar Animation Studio(formerly The Graphics Group), and become CEO of the computer graphics division of Lucasfilm Ltd.

1986:
Apple buyout NeXT.

1991:
Steve Jobs married to Laurene Powell.

1997:
Jobs returned to Apple and served as its CEO (until 2011).

1998:
The iMac G3, an all-in-one personal computer was introduced, the first model of the iMac.

2000:
Introduced The Cube, which won design awards.

2001:
Introduced the iPod, sleek music player.

2006:
MacBook was introduced, and Jobs refines the laptop.

2007:
The birth of the iPhone, an internet and multimedia-enabled smartphone designed by Apple.

2008:
Promoted the World’s Thinnest Notebook, the 13.3″ first-generation MacBook Air.

2010:
Introduced the iPad Tablet.

2011: (24 August)
Jobs resigned as Apple’s Chief Executive Officer.

2011: (05 October)
Steve Jobs – the visionary, the co-founder and former CEO of Apple died at the age of 56.
