The Venator Class Star Destroyer Lego sculpture was built by French artist Sylvain Ballivet aka Iomedes. Sylvain built the LEGO Star Destroyer using 43280 Lego genuine parts in less than 4 months, alone and without any help or assistant, nor he used any manual or instructions kit.
The first VENATOR’s replica that made of Lego bricks was built by LEGO master builder Erik Varszegi in 2005. But this time Sylvain Ballivet indicates that he built the replica using only 100% genuine Lego parts, it means no steel frame, no glue and no screws used – just pure lego bricks.
The Lego bricks sculpture of the Venator Class Star Destroyer also known as the Republic Attack Destroyer was consists of 43,280 genuine Lego parts and measured 82 kgs in weight; 2,44m in length; 0.66m in height and with the wingspan of 1.20 meters.
