WordPress 2.8.1 is out (last 09 of July) and you can updates your site now. I’d already updated this blog via dashboard and it just take seconds… so smooth and fast… But first, I had to deactivate some of the plug-ins before updating, so that there’s no conflict. (I read some comment about the said conflict).
Anyway, WP site said that the release of WordPress 2.8.1 fixed lots of bugs and made the plugin admistration pages secured unlike the previous one.
Updates: WordPress 2.8.3 is a Security Release, make sure to update your WordPress.
For more details, please read the WP blog.
